Since our formation in 1982, Aim Developments has worked hard to establish a reputation as one of Scotland's top, specialist, building contractors. Our original goal was to provide a first class flat roofing and thermal design service to the commercial sector. Building on this, we have expanded our services to include every aspect of roofing work, as well as All Trades Contracting, for both the commercial and domestic marketplaces.

But rest assured, no matter what your contracting needs are, we can offer you the solution. As a matter of policy, we employ only fully qualified tradesmen, and offer a work force skilled in every aspect of the construction industry. Fully trained and expert in all the traditional forms of roofing, we are also proud of our growing stature as an All Trades Contractor, specialising in remote areas.

We have worked on most of the populated Scottish Isles, handling projects as logistically difficult as the complete re-roofing and refurbishment of Symbister Telephone Exchange on Shetland - a project involving roof replacement, Decadex wall coating, fencing, tarmac replacement, electrical and glazing work. All this at the end of two ferry crossings lasting over 15 hours.

We have also successfully completed jobs as diverse as an all trades contract for Tarbert Telephone Exchange on Harris intricate reproduction work on the Wallace Monument just outside Stirling and house building and shop-fitting contracts nationwide.

It would appear the more remote or difficult the project the more we like it! i.e. the challenge!
